Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I'm an ok artist (pencil) and a learning Maya user.
I was wonderin', what would you guys like me to draw? I've got a few drawings, and I'm justabout to get out the old scanner, so Ill post those pics that I like up in a min.
Meanwhile, any ideas?

Bobalie

The idea of this part of the forum was to actually show off any artwork you may have done or are working on, I didnt really set set it up as a separate 2d thread its really more so to show the thought process behind your models etc... or possible ideas for models

Cheers
Jay

yeah, I was just asking as a subplot while I searched for my scanner. Its been found now though, so you can stop worrying.

EDIT**: Sorry about the size, didn't realize how large it was.

3rd... I just realized, if you want to see these in focus, right click and say "view image". Then zoom in/out as requires.

I thought I'd put this in today. I did a while ago at work over a coffee in about 10mins while waiting for a render to pop. Its done with a biro ink pen, a medium which I love drawing in, for some reason I find it easier than a pencil - Weird

looks good jay, I love drawing with "unerasable" media. When I do life drawing I usually draw with graphic marker or similar, I think it gives the whole drawing a certain bit of honesty.

I really should post more here, but I'm a bit too lazy, you can check out my 2d stuff here
