This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I'm a bit new to Maya and I'm trying to rig my first model. I have it all rigged, but now I can only rotate the foot itself (from the ankle) up and down along the X axis. I cannot rotate it on the Y or Z axes. I'm not sure what is wrong. Does anybody have any help? I've attached some images explaining what I mean. I'm not sure what to do to get the legs to rotate out. The foot also snaps around when I rotate it along the Z axis.
The ankle joint has an Orient constraint to the foot control, and the IK handle has a Parent constraint with the foot control as well.
