Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Bevel problem

I have a bevelling problem in one of the furniture in interior modeling tutorial.

I've attached the screenshot of where Maya does not let me bevel.
I've marked them with red line. The rest of the edges were beveled. It's only those areas that I marked in red line that couldn't be beveled.

Any idea guys?

Hi skyjay,
Could be that a couple of vertexes are not merged. Or, you've got an extra face somewhere.

You could also try doing a cleanup.

Sometimes trying to bevel each edge individually will pinpoint were the problem is. Once you figured out the problem and corrected it, then select all the edges and bevel.

Thanks.

You were right.
I had 2 vertex in one corner. I just had to merge them.

Thanks a lot.
