Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Rubiks Cube question

Hello.

This may be a no brainer for most. I've been out of the loop with Maya for about 2 years and I'm refreshing my skills and have run into a challenge.

I'm animating a rubiks cube and all is well as far as rotating faces. My question is when I want to rotate a face to a specific value i.e. 180 degrees, I will go into the "transform attributes" section and key in "180" for the "Y" axis. I notice that the only part of that face that rotates to 180 is just 1 of the 9 cubes! Why will not all 9 rotate to that value?

I'm most likely overlooking something very simple but don't see what that is.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
