new graphics card??

I just brought a new graphics card.., the guy said i can take it back if it doesnt do what I want.., it was a compulsive buy.

it is a XFX GeForce 7600GS 512 MB, 400MHZ APG8X

I am using atm, ATI radeon 9600/X1050, this will not hardware render particles or do a high quality viewport.

I want this card (the new one) to work with maya 2008 and CS3.

will it work.., i haven't put it in yet.

I am really hoping someone will know before I bother to put it in??

The Gforce cards are not supported on maya, although ive never had a problem with one.

Give it a whirl, it will do no harm!
