Motion trail leading to 'Fatal error '

hi

I am doing an simple bouncing ball animation, with the key tangents set to step, (for checking the key poses),

I enabled Ghost,and immediately i got 'fatal error' and unable to work further.

What would be the problem?
some please help me..

by any chance are you using Maya 8?

no, iam using Maya 7

I never had any problems with Maya 7.

To check the animation it's much easier to just scrub the time line or in the settings set playback to 'Show All Frames', I've never used 'ghost' before and probably won't in the future.
