Summer Challenge!

Abandoned

I'd like to see you guys put your modeling and texturing chops to work. user added image The theme is "abandoned". But instead of making a sprawling abandoned civilization or building, let's keep it simple.

I'd like to see a prop that tells a story. Show a piece of everyday item in complete dilapidation and disrepair. At work, I've been doing such props nonstop for the last 6 months. user added image Here's an example I've been allowed to show publicly to get what I mean across:

This is an old, rusty, screwed up oven. user added image

But you don't have to do a modern thing, it could be whatever you want. Try to pick something you'd really find interesting and spend time on it!

Deadline Midnight September 30th!

is this limited to just one object or can it be 2 or 3 objects also included?

Is something modern, e.g. a telescope allowed?
If so, I'll definitely enter.

amoeba - modern is fine.

Rhetoric Camel - if it's reasonable. I just don't want complete scenes or anything.
