First Game Character

Hey all! Im new to this forum and fairly new to 3D modelling in Maya, Im currently working on a game project with some other students and id like to get your feedback on the model for the character I spent the last day or so doing.

looks pretty good so far. Is he going to be a main char? and post up some pics when your done would love to see how it comes out.

Thank you, He is yeah, we havnt decided on head gear yet, the team is torn between a hat or a bandana at this point and the final piece will have a very large backpack! I will post up more, our artist is in the process of making it look pretty!
