Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2

This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Mayaniac vs Joopson vs me?

lets see...

i'm not good with making people, so anything like that i would fail in unless i used the mesh from the Maya tutorials...

what about adding something with outdoor scenery?

hmmm, oh oh, how bout we do something artistic and model something abstract like sorrow or hope?

then you can do whatever you like, you can work on your organic modelling while i work on something less organic and the final judgement is on how well we represent that word

or maybe i'm thinking too big again....

hmm... im gussing half of this will come down to how good your photoshop textures are :p

i'm happy now that i've had a bit more experience with textures

IDK, we will wait for Mayaniacs word. I would say a week is reasonable if we WORK, lol... maybe 2

just wondering...

if you're gonna model organics then wouldnt you want to put clothes on the model? (unless your view of hope is a naked person..?)
how do you put clothes on? or would you be sticking more rigid things onto the model? or not have anything that requires cloths at all because its a frog or something...

i probably wont do hope, my idea for it was stupid, but i would just model the clothes.

I think I'll choose an emotion after mayaniac comes back and we inform him of the topic user added image

also, you don't hope when you see a hot naked girl walking towards you!?!

Well I guess we can start! Maybe we'll wait for Chirone, to realize that it's started... So the start day could be Tomorrow?
