When I used Maya for the first Time I used the shelfs almost all the time. My maya was zo full that the actual pers, or front view was very small... but now.... You only see the main menu, the rest is gone ! I use the hotbox and marking menu's and thats it... so to me it doesn't bother... I will hide them...simple

me spacebar sucks (its sticky :S guess someone likes the computer too much ) so i dont use the hotbox, i just stick with the menus and that
