This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Maya Live

I am trying to track my camaras movement using Maya Live. I have imported a image sequence with 600 frames and placed about 80 trackpoints on it just to make sure. Inside the track menu the owerall bar looks mostly green and yellow, with almost no red.

Now comes the tricky part. Once i hit the solve button the result i get is awfull. In the perspective view the camara flies around like crazy and the overall pixel slip ranges from 500 to 10000.

It seems like i have made a wrong setting or something I have been trying for hours to figure it out, but it havnt changed anything. :headbang:

If anyone know anything about maya live that could help it would be greatly appreciated

80 track points seems like alot to me, i would usually track about 7 points minimum. They might be unnessesary which would throw off the camera solve. can you screen shot some of the tracks?

do you have access to another matchmoving app like pftrack or something?

I have spent some time learning maya live and my project is due friday so i'm a bit timepressed but i gues i dont have much choise.

Track clearcontrasting corners, maya live is a pure luminance tracker so you may want to boost the contrast of your sequence first.
