Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

future apartment

OK;
I have decided to show my first scene as I work on it. I have a lot to go (city outside of the dome windows, props, textures, etc..) but I will get there. The hard part is making my imagination reality.

It is definitely a work in progress, and my first 3d scene.
I have been so inspired by this site, and educated I might add!

I hope you enjoy the progression. Any comments are welcome. I am now in my third month of Maya!

Looks quite cool user added image. You seem not to make this 'mistake' with future things, but try see things that we have in houses now, only with a different shape that makes sense. Ooow I can't stand those 'houses of the future' with superweird shapes, an overdosis of light , weird infunctionable gizmo's that don't work and with a home cinema set in the bathroom, with a guy standing next to it saying: This is how we are probarebly going to live in 2030. user added image Don't they see that only usefull stuff wil come on the market... user added image user added image user added image .
Aight, that was my protest against those idiotic firms who claim they know what will be hot in the future :p. It's looking great though :p user added image user added image :bgreen:

I buy that user added image I will be adding some interesting, large-icon based control panels that should help convey the difference, if there is one between the 70's and Space. user added image

Well, here is the beginning of the interactive table. Each button has a unique control for the apartment. This is rough, but I am still working on ituser added image
