looking good so far - keep it up

one question - why you using maxwell render for something thats looking quit cartoon like - as maxwell tends to be a very realistic render ani`t it.

yeah, maxwell is a realistic renderer.

but i kind of like the cartoon look in realistic lighting.
its kind of like a clay-mation style. you know?

idk, we'll see when i finish everything else ^_^

no, sorry, lol.

ill finish it by august though, so no worries, lol.

the reason i am not really working on it is because TEXTURING comes next :blegh: lol..

thats my downfall. im not THAT bad at UVing, its just making the texture itself is boring to me.

I think both angles are too sterile, try something more dramatic. Your concept is goofy, but it's presented too formally. I'd like to see more diagonals.
Maybe an angled shot a few feet from the broom or something.

I'm also not sure about your rendering style - though I know it's not final. What are you going for? If you're still trying for the clay animation style then take a look at supersculpey, I think his skin could look awesome with that type of surface.
At the moment you have a pretty nice basic pass, but you need more, like one for SSS for the skin and more love for the clay look. Though I think you should make what he's wearing have that fleece or flannel texture.

Anyway it's coming together nicely, man. I'm really glad you jumped back in, this is a really sweet concept
