Think I would texture it a bit more, for me the whole model/secene is very smooth. Although you want it a cartooney style a bit of bump/variation would look really good, especially if your using maxwell, might as well take advantage of its rendering ability.

yeah, I think 3 is the way to go. It could do with some slight enhanced contrast in post, though

Good work, man

hmmm - I tend to prefer 2 - i think the table lamp light helps balance the scene a bit more.

I agree with gster though - i think this could do with a bit more work on the textures - maybe some more details on his pyjamas or something on the tv screen....

The light in #2 brings out the enviorment better and gives a warmer feeling but #3 gives a better darker mood in my opinion. Just an iidea, but it would be intresting to see the enviorment change as it goes into the next room, giving it a dream like quality, or how about some slime dripping off the door frame with some monster fingers portruding around the door it self.

i think thats too explicit, I like the feeling its got right now.
I'd think about dumbing down the light from the left just a bit and adjust the contrast a bit and I'd even add a very subtle bit of specular bloom to punch out the highlights. - but maybe I've just been too much on a next-gen kick :headbang:

sorry about it, but i have no time to change everything. tomorrow i am going camping, then im coming back the next day at around 4 pm, at which time i need to do the final render. i will use multilight to tweak the lights, and photoshop to add hair, and anything else i can think of.

thanks for supporting me all through this this ^_^

Joopson I am glad you finished. The concept was really funny and the execution not bad at all user added image Came out quite nice.

I was supporting the ninjas this whole campaign, but we are outnumbered. You'll have to put up a strong fight in the votes to finish them off. I am counting on you.

Hey Joopson, great job on the last render! user added image I didn't notice the hair the first time I saw it. Your hard work on this project should never go unnoticed!
