Bevel tool

Hi all,

Just a little question concerning the bevel tool.

Sometimes it seems to me that this tool doesn't make its job very well when the object is relatively small...am i right ?

When I bevel small objects, I usually need to change the offset for the bevel in the channel box to something really small like .01 or something.
