Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

the QOTSA cd is ok.. there is a couple good songs. As for bands go, Linkin park, rob zombie, and most of what the others said. The Drowning pool cd is really good.
Some of the best cds:
cold - year of the spider
gob - foot in mouth desease
LP - both cds
Disturbed - believe
Taproot - Welcome
mudvanye - LD. 50
Not by choice - Mabye one day
Saliva - Back in your system
Trapt - Trapt

That should keep you busy. Oh, and the 12 stones and blindside are both really good bands as well.
