Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

polygon sculpt tool

hi,

i've been using the polygon sculpt tool on half a head. however, when i've finished using the tool, and then go to duplicate to make the other side of the head, it somehow loses the history of what i've sculpted after i've smoothed the head. does anyone know what i need to do to correct the problem i'm having?

thanks, g.

delete the history on the side of the head before you duplicate it.

i already went ahead and sculpted the other side of the head - it was just a bit around a horn i needed to do but next time i'll go ahead and try what you said.
