ok, supposedly Fusion LE is included in every package of Maya.

would someone please explain where the hell it is?? i've never found it.

My guess is it's a compositing program. Alias|Wavefront composer used to come bundled w/ maya back when it was like v. 1.5 and that was a compositer. (a decent one at that). Ok just checked on the web yeah it's a compositing software.
