Simply Maya Webinars?

I don't know if this has ever been brought up before here or if its really that pertinent what with all of the great free tuts that SM has but I still thought it might be interesting to see what everyone thinks about seeing some of SM's pros user added image in live webinars.

I know of a few sites that are using them as a driving force to get more users, and we all know that more users = more money in "Dave's Pocket" which means even more great tuts user added image which I am always game for.

Anyways just a thought what does everyone else think?

We like the idea as well we just need to get round to organising it.

Seems that'd be quite a large undertaking, what with all the billions of people from all around the globe on here

Yeah, but you've got to remember that most of them just registered so that they could get the free tutorials. :/

Glad to know that you are at least thinking about it.

There are plenty of apps such as gotomeeting or teamviewer that can host the webinars heck they might even be free depending on how many ppl actually attend them I'm not sure what the occupancy is for the free versions or if there even is a limit I've never exceeded it.

The other struggle would be of course what to talk about user added image

Meh the people who are really interested in joining in will regardless of the time I've stayed up till 2:00AM on a few occasions to watch League of Legends competition games (I know ima geek owell)

The point is most peoples time is flexible enough or if nothing else I have set up Audials tunebite to record webinars so I could watch it later thought that's not exactly preferable since the whole purpose is to be able to ask questions along the way. course I should probably ask for permission before I do that.
