Howdy,

A friend and I have just started up a new studio called BLack Lung Studios, so I can say that I am self employed....hehe, yeah but anyway, I do modeling, animation, texturing and lighting, and ofcourse we use Maya as our software package. Before we decided to get our own business going we were doing freelance work for about a year or so, and have now decided to go for it.

Our main source of income at the moment is doing 3d visualizations. We have a few upcoming TV ads on the cards but nothing has come to an agreement as of yet.

I'm only 14, so I guess my occupation is student right now :p

But when I'm older I'll probably become a video/software programmer. I already am very familiar with C/C++ and DirectX for games. Maya is just kinda a hobby for me when I'm out of school

I'm 15 years old, so I too am a student. I hope to be a 3d artist/modeler/animator . Yes, I use Maya a lot.

I'm 21, and I'm a student at the University of Teesside (home of Animex). I'm studying Software Engineering. Currently, I'm on a year in industry work placement in the Finance department at Corus Special Profiles.
I've been using Maya since December 2003, and have recently bought Modod to speed up my modelling.
