Excellent work Dave! Your thread has a TON of views! One of my favs no doubt, and Thank You again for your answers/info, -its great to watch and learn from you. Have you hit any frustrations/pains in going back and forth from Maya <=> Mudbox?

Hope you are feeling better!! Keep up the awesome work!

ah, i wasnt sure if youd posed him in z, or perhaps used a lattice in Maya, or whatever, to position him. Full rigging with clothing. Im starting to think about rigging a clothed character. I'll be watching and trying to take notes if you take that on.

This current challenge project is coming together nicely, particularly now youve got some colour thrown in. We're past the half way point now arent we...

I have stopped using zbrush and am now using mudbox works better for me as I do most of my modelling in maya just needs texturing witch to me mudbox is a lot better at but I need first to do my UVs as mudbox does not have a UV masterplugin(will miss that). I just used rotate a lot with changing the axis did not take long and soft select. I have not done a lot of rigging skinning and weight maps thats why I am going to do my next project to learn more........dave

Still under the weather so no update hope to have some thing soon. I have done over the years about 300 hours in zbrush and about 10 hours in mudbox 2011, THX1138 its the way I model most of my modelling is done in maya and only finishing of in zbrush/mudbox. For sculpting zbrush beats mudbox hands down but its the texturing that mudbox works for me linking up with photoshop...........dave
