Thank You Dave :-) ! Good suggestion(s), and I agree. Those ...'boob' bumps will be fixed. I'm still mirroring my geometry over, even re-doing my image references (since I have the toy, I took some new shots -front and side- ). Always learning, & glad to do so.

still few things to correct with geometry.. you are on a good way.. I like it..

you can fix those bumps buy sticking more edge loops around the corners.
it takes 3 edges to make a sharp-ish corner when you smooth.

you could bevel the corners and then figure out how to deal with the five sided faces it'll leave you with

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
Maya, XSI, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Motion, Illustrator, Flash, Swift3D

Looking good mate...you could also seperate the 'bumps' from the main mesh and then edge loop or bevel. If you edge loop you might end up with edges where you dont want them...so you will have to delete or alter them....I have been caught like that before where the loop has deformed the mesh further around or up etc...nice work dude

cheers bullet

Good ideas Nukefr, I'll use them, & I appreciate it. I agree, the knee area needs more depth. Your pic nails it, -excellent. Thank You for the feedback, very helpful!

Back :)

Hi All :-) . Hope things are going well for everyone. Just getting back from 2 rush freelance gigs (animation for a laser animation show, and an illustration job. Plus some fun doing a presentation at a User Group). Course now I wish I had more time for working on this contest 8^D .

Anyway, I did get a little time to work on it today, and here's the latest (crappy) render <:-D ;

(And Thank You again to everyone who's been helping me out with the tips and feedback, I sincerely appreciate the support and help!)
