2 axis scaling

im a max user starting to learn maya as well!just installed the ple and assumably have the dummbest question ever!
wasnt able to figure out how to move or scale along 2 axis at a time!

There may be another way, but this is the method I know of. Go to the input node in the channel editor, and select the two axes you want to translate or scale. Then use the middle mouse button (this is called a virtual slider) and drag back and forth till you get the result you want.

For scale, select the scale handle that you DON'T want to scale in and ctrl-middle click and drag.

for move, ctrl-click the axis you want to constrain to.
