err did I say that having multiple parts made the rigging easier - well I spoke to soon user added image

this is happening when I move the pelvis forward - the bolts move in the opposite direction user added image

any ideas what I have done or haven't done that I should?

well u could delete their history and then parent or even combine them (if they are all poly's) to the main body. Thats should do the trick m8

Nice stuff, I like the way his head moves, even in a short test animation it gives him a nice start on being a character you want to watch.

LOL, mumbojumbo... i know, i have been pummelled into the ground. As for your bolts, why dont you group or combine the mesh all into one piece?, the bolts would definately not move then.
