Oh wow, really nice pony. I like the style you have going on there, nice textures and raytracing going on. Your latest render though, how did you get that effect inside the hip?(the honeycomb holes) Did you do it all by hand, texture or just a certain technique? Ok, thats all... really looking nice user added image.

BTW, one thing i would do is ditch the "crane" look for the leg, and do something more futuristic. I know triangles in that fashion are super sturdy, but thicker metal and larger sheets and a cooler design would make that look a lot more appealing, IMHO. Its coming along great though.

Really nice! I agree with M about the hip joint! The circular part is okay but the crane triangle part I'd make it more like the circular piece. Make it flat is what I mean triangles still but flat! Hope that makes sence! user added image Later mate!
