First u'll need to map the faces where you want the fur. Select the faces and go to Edit Polygons>Texture>Automatic Mapping. Then you assign a fur to the char. (this is what I do)

i selected where i eanted the fur then i went to editpolygone-texture-automatiquemapping but after what am i supose to do. user added image

Fur>Attach fur description>New (This is on the rendering menu set)
or assign a preset fur, like the squirrel one.

Anyone here plays Tibia?

i dont find Fur>Attach fur description>New in the rendering menu set(is the menu set the little triangle in the top left side of the screen)

You can only use fur when you have maya unlimited.
