I don't even know what day mothers day is on... a phone call to my mom works pretty well, she loves when I call, especially on a holiday or her birthday.

I almost forgot about this idea. Write a poem for you mom telling her about all the things you appreciate about her, etc. My brother, sister and I did this once and her eyes got real teary. She said it was the best Mother's day gift she ever got.
