Animating a book

I am wanting to animate a magazine book paging through. What is the best method?

Key frame the pages as they flip, from what I have done.

combination of keyframing and for the pages maybe a bit of softbody work to get the page looking natural.

build the page out of three curves (loft) and animate the curves ... there is no other (simple) way to animate it the right way ...
