This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

HELP ..Trying to Connect EP on the EP curve tool

I am trying to connect 2 Edit point to form a Closed Circle.

I have tried everything under the sun to try and connect these points. I am just clicking to make a circle. I stop just shy of closing the circle. I right click and choose Edit point....THEN WHAT?

I select the 2 edit points I wanna merge and THEN WHAT??



I think I have tried about everything!!! THis is soooo simple and its driving me crazy!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!

Edit curves -> close curves

are you selecting the edit points? You need to select the curve itself.

and make sure you not in component selection mode.

I feel like SUCH A MORON!!!


THank you all so much....I was selecting the edi points INSTEAD of the curve in selection mode. I was attaempting to create "Dory" the fish from "Finding Nemo" and I was creating the shape (outline) and I could NOT for the life of me close the curve.



I thank you so much!!! I couldn't even find it in teh documentation..I bet I was reading to fast or something!!

You guys (girls) are teh best and I thank you for your posts and help!!
