offtopic -cpu useage with network card
i have just installed a wireless pci network card an now my cpu usage is 100% 100% of the time it is a xp with athalon proc. ne1 knows y or how to fix
help need as now i cant do nething on it and customer support is not bein helpfull at the mo
Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

Download the latest drivers for the motherboard from the vendors website.
Un-install drivers for the wifi card.
Remove the card.
Install the latest motherboard drivers.
Check to see if the drivers for the card need to be installed before the card is installed or not. If before install the latest drivers you got earlier.
Install card in the last PCI slot (furthest from the video card). (install driver if required see above)
Check in the bios and kill off any inbuilt Ethernet ports unless your using it.
Make sure you windows has been up dated, latest patches etc via windows update.
