hi !! i have acquired maya 4.5 for a macintosh and when i launch maya the it tell me :: "" maya4.5 (Field Release) ""

is it normal (( usual )) ?

well it seems your reseller has done you out of a new start up screen, as 4.5 does not look like that. That is the starting screen for 4.0.

Go get a refund user added image

hey Im only messing with ya mate... its a lonely place here! sometimes we have to have a laugh before we all go mad.

But seriously... If it is a dodgy copy then thats your business and you cant really complain, but if its a legal version then take it back and ask them whats going on.
