i have worked with mtmckinley`s car tutorial and it is greate tutorial like all others mc-s tutorials, on his site you can find some reali greate video tutorials for free, they helped me a lot!!!!!

Yeah I'm doing a car right know in nurbs. I used that tutorial of the WRX. I think that tutorial sucks cause it doesn't explain how to do anything. All the tutorial did was give me a good start and figure everything out myself. If you are looking for a good tutorial and you'll spend money for it you should get Gnomon Nurbs Modeling DVD 3. Thats the best tutorial I seen that explains how to use nurbs for a car. And it goes in detial what everything is. Its expensive though thats what I hate about the site. Its $69 for one DVD.

Are you talking about the 3D max tutorial or is there a maya tut out there somewhere?

Pretty much show you how he set up the curves. Goes in detail what each function is and how he used it for his car. Like for Brail 1-3, trimming, projection curves, and etc. DVD 1 and 2 think they cover nurbs for beginners. DVD 3 is more intermedite or advanced.
