This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Gona go for a sci fi character, not sure who yet, im gona draw out a few ideas and see what i like the best, good luck to all, this is my first comp in a while so lets hope it all goes well.

Oke im gona do a Sci fi nazgul with dragon, should be fun, im gona spend a week or so on concept. Im planning to do a fully rigged one and the actual nazgul should be relatively easy (or easier) seeing as there is no head to model.
I thought i might get a grip on the actualy creatures first, so i did a couple of sketches.. .. check it out... im starting to do sketches of the wring wraiths head underneath the big black cloke, i know its fantasy but i just want to make sure i can draw the characters before i mess them up sci fi style :
eh.. does this put it in more context:
its just a 3d sketch... concept... i may have fewer chunks that are larger.. just to give a gesture of somthing underneath the wraiths cloak took 5 mins.
I like the dragon concept, looks like an interesting meld of science and fantasy. I still don't really get what the thing that looks like an exploded molecular structure is but I am sure it will all become clear.
