looking at it again,

The creases at the seams of the leather is too deep, and you should try to put it on some gym floor instead, since the sport is mainly an indoor game user added image

Looks good, but as Carsten said, maybe you should throw it in a gym scene, or maybe a beach with hot, naked chicks! user added image

why does that take 2 hours to render?! user added image

the comments the guys made above are good ones though, also the ball is too clean give it a logo or something just to break up the monotonous shade of the ball.

Not sure, but isn't PFx a bit heavy on renders sometimes? The logo is a great idea, and also a little wear on the textures would be cool...

maybe i could make my scene a little more complexe but i only made that to practice my render skills.now my problem is that i dont know how to unwrap stg(i know the basic).i would like to know how the new unfold uv tool works in maya 7.0. if you have a good tut about it, just let me know.

i really dont know why it took 2 hours to render, maybe its the grass(paint effects seems long to render) anyway my computer is so bad , im sure it didnt help user added image .

I'd have guessed that you could just use Spherical Mapping on the ball, as it's basically just a sphere... user added image
