lens aperture opening

Whats the best why to animate a lens aperture opening out?

Off the top of my head I would go for SDK's myself.

It was actually quite simple really. Just model one blade move it pivot to the correct position and duplicate the other with rotation and then connect the rotate y of the first balde in the connection editor to all the others y imput.
