This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

The main color is a bit matt i think. The front wheel/brake parts re nice.

i think that's what ill do clearairstudios, coz ive tried to use Vray here, but it takes too long to render a frame (dont know why), probably because i dont know Vray good enough user added image

dont think i'll get carpaint any better, tryed to use carpaint phen, but i couldnt get flakes scale to get small enough (dont know why, any idieas how i could scale them down, coz ive used 0.0001 and it still was too big???), in the end ive done shader using a mix8 layer with 2 mia materials, and this is a result...

PS havent put any light yet in the scene, all lighting from HDR

Hey Mate.

You should Freeze Transform on the bodypart you add the mia material. Then the flakes scale will be all right. user added image
i think the scale is connected with the flakes scale somehow...
