Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

My wife uses the Train here and I don't like it. It's just like London here, no security at all.

I hope all your family and friends are OK Alan.

Cheers
Paul

yeah that bus is a little disconcerting. I'm just glad I dont take public transport. There's a really horrible eery feeling the air aswell. I've just been outside to get lunch and there are no cars anywhere, shops are quiet (they're shutting the major stores) everyone's hearing different rumours... not a nice place to be right now and of course there's the rushhour later... wonder how many folk will be able to take a bus/tube

I can understand that feeling ten-fold. I remember when the 9/11 attacks took place...you could still see a big cloud of concrete dust in the air hanging over where the trade center used to be....this from about 50 blocks away and two weeks later....the smell of concrete also. There's always a little nagging tweak in the back of my mind everytime I take the subway to work in the morning.

Glad to hear you guys are all safe.

A colleague left Aldgate Station literally 5 or 10 minutes after the explosion there. Very lucky.

They say the bus may have been targeted to show a visual aspect of the carnage, which you don’t get from the underground atrocities.

Yeah, but no but yeah but no....

Alan

Holy crap that frickin sucked today. Ive never seen so many cops and all those sirens. I did think of you as a matter of fact and everyone else on SM who are in town during the day. Tower Bridge was shut down from tourists, it was just dead walking over there this afternoon at 3, everyone was just wanting to get home. London Bridge Station was was just a nightmare, just tons of people. I was lucky to squeeze my fat arse onto a train home.

Thoughts out to those not so lucky...

Alan,
That seems to be a pretty common sentiment appearently. That pragmatic attitude is one of the qualities I love about the English. Glad to hear you're ok and to echo Jango, our hearts are with those who survived and those less fortunate.
