Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Ah GREAT!

On Amazon just ordered about every book there is to buy on MAYA 7 and now there's an 8?! Great!!!

Talk of the town (for ya'll comositors around here, yeah all 2!!) is that Shake is going to be discontinued. Word goes they (Apple people) will integrate it in the new Final Cut Studio (toghether with Motion, DVDSP and Soundtrack Pro).

But hey, who cares, there is a Maya8!
Olé! new books, new editions....
:shakehead

I wouldent worry about the books you've bought, they will be fine, the concepts and tools will be the same so you havent wasted your money (plus theres not much real difference between 7 and 8)
