Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

:O is this master cheif?!?

Awesome job so far! Can't wait to see the finished project, keep it up. Only complaint I have is that he looks a bit short, like the legs are too short or the body is too long? Not really sure what it is. Keep it up though user added image

I think it seems so short because his circumference compared to his body length is too much for you but i think this way he looks like a dwarf...i mean he looks completly armoured and like a heavy warrior...it shall look like this...its not an elfish creature if you are in fantasy stuff.....

you could get away with that, but..... between the forearm and the bulky part everyone is saying is big, there is a really small bit of an elbow joint of sorts... that might be why it looks so off

looks good so far

I would prefer if you did not do as Peltra has suggested.

Where would the fun be in that?
The whole point is to be creative and make it up yourself, isn't it?
