does anybody know why sometime if you do a batch render, maya creates another maya file instead of rendering the type of images you specified.

Any help?

Dont really know what you mean?

If you catch it as its rendering then its saved as a "half file" which you cant open as its only part completed.

What file type do you mean????

It's actually just not working. I start a batch render and it says it is rendering for a couple minutes and then says render is complete. BUt no images are produced and it is finishing way faster than it should for the size of the job. Has anyone had Batch render just not work?
