Very interesting project Kurt, and it's great to see you're still part of the SimplyMaya community user added image. Your sculpting skills are impressive as ever. I bet it's really cool to see your art go from computer to real life. Look forward to seeing more

Ya its pretty cool to hold things i design on screen in my hand.

This is my first print on my own Form2 printer, just letting it sit for a bit before the clean up starts. So stoked about being able to work on her. I'll prime her up soon and all the detail will pop. She will be 8 inches tall once put together.

Great work kurt! It's surreal to actually see a physical model from the cg work. This makes me want to get back into maya. I haven't touched it in several years. I have some old models that would be cool to see printed. I remember an old member here years ago won a SM challenge, aaron I believe it was, had his model 3D printed.

I don't touch Maya much anymore mostly for posing with a quick skeleton rig.

Illustration for the 3d print almost done.

Hello, Kurt

Nice to see you again! Awesome work as always! What is your 3D printer?
I have a Makerbot mini, i would love if you share your models in the thingiverse so i can print them out and paint them!

Hi Coldwave,

The printer I have is a FormLabs form2 printer.

https://formlabs.com/3d-printers/form-2/

I might put some small things up on thingyverse in the future but most of my time is getting all the prototypes done to open my shops.
