Demo reel help

What resolution is ideal for rendering out to for creating a demo reel to be watched in the UK, and what format produces best quality?

Probably PAL resolution in the uk 720x576 I think form memory, although you could go for a widescreen format if you wanted to.

Also if your going to put this to DVD (which I assume as your asking for UK resolutions) Your going to be stuck wuth MPE2 coding (as thats what DVD's use, when your making the reel just keep everything to the highest quality possible (I would probably go with full DV streem as thats what I've found gives me the best results) untill you compress to DVD

just leave everything uncompressed (dv stream has compression on it).

your authoring programm is gonna convert it down to mpeg 2 anyway and this way you only have one compression.
