Looking good Chris.

Maybe fatten up the landing gears wheel strut thingy me bob? As it looks like it might not be able to take the strain of landing so to speak??

nice job R@nSiD.

yeah - i agree about the landing gear - i also think that it looks a little awkward where they connect to the main body - maybe if the body was a bit thicker under where they connect.

The tough part Done. Double up on Textures for the wing decal to work properly to allow it to overlap on both bits of Geometry.

About finished (95%). texturing is complete, but there are issues with the Aileronsm that were not apparent until render.

So these will be redone and I will post it fixed.

I must agree, the texturing is nice.

The model uses about 15 seperate parts and has about the same number of layered shading groups. All have the same base color and then have a seperate psd file attached on the top of the layered shader order as the decals are placed onto the top of the body and would have minimal or no shine.

Each area was UV'd and a UV map was created then brought into photoshop, this was then saved under a diff name and applied. the layerd Shader is a "simple car paint" style shader.

MJ,

Things aint great as I was made redundant in November and I am busy apply for jobs and getting interviews and getting pipped at the the post for the positions. Quite demoralising, but hey it has to be done, so I am waiting to hear from another couple of applications and go from there. Apart from the life is peachy, had a 3 month or so break from Maya and rediscovered my love of doing 3D, and I am trying to get my head around XSI again and learing C# (slowly) and I am revamping my website too. So I am not totaly bored sitting at home user added image
