whats this menu called how do i get it XD

hi guys, im watching some rigging videos and he has this menu open on the left (to the right of the tools), it looks to me like the hierarchy editor :/ but im not sure, thanks in advance!

to get that particular view you can click on the icon on the left there that looks like the outliner and perspective view combo

you can also bring it up from the menu at the top somewhere under Window I think.
I've a hotkey assigned to it, alt+ctrl+o, can't remember if i did it myself or if its default...




that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

You did that yourself... I've got Ctrl+Shift+o... obviously the superior choice.
If you ever need to find something, there's an option under the help menu called "find menu" I think which allows you to search for stuff. Obviously you'll need to know some part of what you're looking for, but if you search outliner, you should get to the right spot.
