This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

It's biting me too much... How do I....

What do I use to make sort of a chrome texture? And where do I go to map textures onto an object? user added image

Do a search in the forum for chrome, you should find plenty of old threads relating to this topic. user added image

I was lookin for a brushed metal look yesterday and I found this, maybe it's helpful to you?

Also there's alot of textures on this site you can use.
