selection Conversion

Is there a way if I am selecting an edged to change the selection to automaticly select the verticies that make up the edge, without having to do it manually. Also If I am selecting a bunch of faces can I change it to select the edges or verticies thata make up the faces. This would speed things up.

Thanks

uhh... when you're selecting a face you're essentially selecting all the edges (or vertices) associated with that face... so what's the problem?

The reason is I want to use it for when I'm painting skin weights. I believe you need to have verticies selected to use the component editor.
