Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

yeah.. i'll smooth the armor itself out.. but as for the front plate and shoulder deals.. i kind like them looking straight edged like that.. it gives it a more crude feeling for the evil knight.. unless you guys have other idea's... i'd love to hear them

ide say keep the front smooth(set normals on the length part of the front plate to soft) but bevel the edges slightly.

thanks for the comments everyone... i took your advice on the front plate twisted and i agree it looks alot better.. i also smooth out the actual armor plating to see what it would look like it its just cuasing more tweaking then i want to deal with at the moment so i unsmoothed it till i'm about finished... but not before taking a screenshot... so here goes

ALSO: i'm gonna be taking a break from this for a couple weeks so i can put more effort into the challenge between me and twisted Dragon.. if you want to see it unfold heres a link

Who cares, you'd just use it like a axe/hook and drive that hook through someones kneck or ribs.

yahhh its probly not much of a stabbing sword.... its more of a "run for your life before the guy holding it can figure out how it works" kinda sword... although its probly not that difficult.. you could just swing it around wildly... thats what i'd douser added image
