That reminds me of a "Tron" look. What do you think that would look like with the glow?

Great work. Looking forward to more updates!

Basura,

Can I ask how you did the inset seams along the breasts (the horizontal space/lines dividing the breasts) or the area defining the ear? I looked at the mesh and it looks just like a simple extrusion or bevel but when I try it, my extrusion or bevel just looks like geometry placed on top of another piece of geometry rather than creating an inset. I've been trying to figure this out for quite awhile with no luck. Any tips would be great.

I was wondering about that for the last 2 days myself!

So, Basura, If we ask nicely, could you sum it up in a sentence or two?

Pretty Please??? hehe... Thanks!

I bet it's going to be using sub-d creases, which at the moment is baffling the heck out of me. Well, actually I understand the concept but getting it to work the way I want is another story entirely...just ask the poor, battered, mangled hand I tried to create via A|W's sub-d lessons. user added image

Been very buisy at work with deadlines, that's why I haven't answered before...

NitroLiq and ragecgi, what I did was just extruding in some faces... There is no sub ds at work, just smoothed polygons... I will attach a screen showing how the polys look before smoothing...

mumbojumbo_13, the gamescreenshot is actually not really for a game. It's rather for testing bumpmap, specular highligts and dynamic lighting in the latest engine update we where using. I'm not aloud to show a screen from the game itself because it's still in a concept stage being shown to publishers...

And thanks all for the support! user added image

Basura,

Excellent! I've been wondering about that for along time. If I can ask one other question...what settings are you using when you soften your polys. I end up with way too many after the smooth.

I use 2 subdivisions... And it does give me lots of polygons but thats why I just do it before rendering... My computer is to slow and I like the fact that I can tweak a low poly version whenever I can, would be difficult with all those polys...

The settings are:

Subdivision 2
Continuity 0.9
Keep geometry off
Keep selection on
Keep hard edges off
Keep tesselation on
