Hey Vlad. You've still got plenty of time to call it done. Brilliant stuff, dude!

I like the render better on the last one, but you lose him in the background. Try a different background pic, with the same settings. Try something not so busy that way he stands out more.

i actually like the way it blends in the bckgrnd on the third one. thats why i changed the hue of the textures to be a bit more greenish/blue and light contrast.

like its a natural habitat.

very nice but to me the skin doesnt look as dry as it is in reality..it seems too wet kinda..also maybe try to get the scales better out..

I would love to see an animation of this!! even on 5 secs or so!

yea, in the last render there is no glossiness at all on the character.
the scales look less exagerated than normal.
some of these animals have flat scales some have really pointy scales. it also depends on how close or how far they are seen.
from far, the scales seem longer and extruding more, but form close the are more subtle and flatter.
hes rigged, but im not going to animte.

thanx.

Yeah, amazing work Vlad. user added image

I am having a hard time deciding between the last three renders that you posted. For me, I tend to prefer the greyish skin color of the first two contrasting with the foliage, but I know you said you prefer the lizard blending into the background. In any case this is working really well.

Cheers, dude!
