This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

fur tutorial?

hey,
is there a free tutorial that explains how to paint fur onto objects? i tried searching but couldn't find anything.... and if not here, does anyone know where one could find some information about the fur stuff in maya?

I'll be doing a fur tut soon.... but not sure if it will be a free one or not its up to Kev and Dave.

As for fur tuts try searching teh net.

well, maybe someone can help me with my problem here then.... i tried to attach a new fur attribute to a polygon model i have, but it only gettattached to certian parts of the model not the whole thing....

here is a picture of my problem...

Did you uv map the dog before you bond him? I have found that laying out the uvs helps when attemping fur..
